this place is part restaurant part Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature office. Exhibitions are held here also. The view is breath-taking and the smoothies are yummilicious. I really enjoy their mujib chicken wrap.. u can also find good veggie platters here |

Before we left Rum village for the desertsafari in Wadi Rum we bought chickens for dinner. I will not tell you how the chicken feathers were taken off, but it was not by hand (at least the chickens were dead before). In the evening the meal tasted very good! |

If you are a visitor at the Spa Hotel just for swimming you can only eat at the restaurant by the lower pool (the restaurant by the upper pool is just for guests at the hotel). It is not bad though. The view over the Dead Sea is nice and the sandwiches good. A chickensandwich and 7-up is 5 JD. |

Buy a fresh fuit juice of your own choise at one of the juice stands/cafés around in Jordan. The picture is from Ar-Razi Street in Aqaba. Chose your favourite fruit or mix of fruits: orange, mango, lemon, banana, melon, apple, strawberry etc. It is very delicious! |

Are you tired of shawarmas? If you want to have something else and are willing to pay more the restaurant at Haret Jdoudna is nice. Haret Jdoudna is a complex with arts and crafts shops and a restaurant on Talal Street. There are different things to chose from on the menu. There are pizzas but also more traditional food. A pizza with a big bottle of water is 4,5 JD. A meat-dish, taboule, bread and coffee is just over 10 JD. In Friday evenings there is live music. When I was there people started do dance to the music. |

If you are looking for the Fast food resturants, you will see Macdonalds. Popyes Burger King, Piza Hot and others If you are looking for tradishinal food, you should go to Kan Zaman, Tawheen El Hawa.... Dont miss the big hotels resturants you will regret it Jordan is very know of Mansaf, it consist of Rise, meat and Lebna... |

The restaurant is part of an old building. There are also souvenir shops, a traditional spice shop and more. The nicest local dishes you can imagine! Wonderful buffet with traditional Arabian food. I loved most a dessert called "Umm Ali" "Ali's Aunt". That is a hot cake with raisins and a nice sauce. Delicious!!!! |

This is a mezza place, meaning that you get freshly baked Arabic bread and you dip your bread into a myriad of different textures and tastes for an extremely satisfying meal. In the evenings there is usually a live band playing and you can lounge around after dinner smoking your hookah, or as we call it, argeeleh, and drinking tea... oh, or whiskey, cos this place serves alcohol. Anything with eggplant is scrumdiliyumtious :) |

This is a place where you go to eat sweets.. very Arabic sweets. But i think it is a must. This place is open year round but since the dessert is sooooo heavy, people usually like it in winter... you know, when you need extra padding :) The dessert this place is known for is called Tamriyeh.. it is semolina packed in pastry and deep fried.. then sprinkled with powder sugar. Very very good. mmmmmmmm........ and u get one for 200 fils. That is really very very cheap. This place also offers other arabic desserts..all very good quality. |
